1. Clean or replace heating and cooling filters if the air conditioner runs daily.
2. Clear condensate drain lines if your AC technician has flagged clogs.
3. Inspect deck boards and railings for splinters or loose fasteners.
4. Check exterior paint and stain for peeling on south-facing walls.
5. Vacuum refrigerator coils if manufacturer recommends annual access.
6. Test irrigation heads for overspray onto siding.
7. Look for wasp nests in eaves early in the season.
8. Verify attic ventilation is not blocked after spring pollen.
9. Exercise whole-house fan or attic fans if equipped.
10. Review storm emergency kit for heat-specific supplies.
